I picked up this gem on the word of a mutual friend, and so began what would turn out to be one hell of a journey into the world of Extreme Horror. My first time to delve into the writing and mind of Kyle M. Scott, but not the last. This author knows his stuff – a conclusion reached after a mere handful of pages into the story. The premise is supremely simple: a group of bloodthirsty killers and misfits, blazing a trail of murderous mayhem, run afoul of another and larger like-minded group, who ultimately show the upstarts how it’s done.There are so many aspects that make this story great. For one, depth of characters; for another, level of blood and brutality. The plotting is first-rate, and it’s all delivered at a pace that is relentless. The story hooks you, the horror literally seeping into your consciousness from the first page on, and it drags you to its “Full-Circle” conclusion. I thought that conclusion a nice touch.
But what makes this the incredible story it is, and what is truly its most frightening factor, is the cast of characters found at The Club. To some, it will come as no surprise; to others, it will make you think, shiver, question everything, and give you nightmares, guaranteed. But then, that’s what makes for good horror fiction, and The Club delivers.
Author Scott said to me several times while reading his book that “I hope you have fun with it, mate.” Let me assure the gentleman of this – mission accomplished. Well done, my friend.
Five Stars, of course, and highly recommended, and be prepared for shock after bloody shock.

Yes I was very intertained in this book I just couldn't stop reading it,I'm a fan of Horror stories an this one is very grouse good THANKS FOR Intertaining ME
Absolutely loved the repulsive road trip this amazing horror novel takes you on. Very graphic which is a feature I look for when reading any horror novel. Constantly found myself cheering, fearing, and grieving for "The Girl." Intense.
I love reading books by this author he pushes boundaries and his books read like a social commentary on the truth of this worlds nature. A mixture of Bentley Little and Laymon mixed with his own style he never fails to impress. I recommend this book to all fans of modern horror!
Seriously it had all the makings of a great Manson inspired killing spree story. It is literally nothing but rape and torture. I like dark books, but this is just bad. I stopped it after the POTUS torture narrative. Not because I'm a drone for the president, but because it was going full on pathetic trying to shock. I can't imagine a scenario where i finish the book or even consider this author again
This is my first book by Kyle and I really enjoyed it because he did just about everything right. The editing was good, I felt I understood the motivations of the characters, and the protagonist was someone I could root for. The club itself was a pretty over the top plot device, but it was kind of a unique take on a Hostel type situation.
The one thing that I had a hard time swallowing, pun greatly intended, was the feast scene. Without someone on hand to at least slightly cook the slices, I could not believe that the attendants would put in all the work to consume their meal.
I'll be looking for more from Mr. Scott in the future, although I'm hoping the next encounter will be more straight up horror and less Natural Born Killers.
first of all, getting this out of the way.....for anyone, and there are plenty, that give bad reviews for editing, you'll find mistakes....sometimes
more than just a word, sometimes a phrase but I ALWAYS rate past human error in editing....but there was one in the book where someone
obviously meant to say "no way Jose!", and it was written "no way hose!".....cracked me up....but the story......from the very beginning, it's a
non-stop horrific, gory read!! faint of heart go back to those silly vampire/plague-zombie books....but if you want a read that'll grab you and NOT let go you need to get this and read it!! Kyle absolutely holds nothing back when it comes to the depravity he writes and certainly going back to look for more from him!!!
